Jeff Isenhour, Bunker Hill High principal, announced at a recent club meeting that the Interact Club was reforming as a result of three students’ attendance at the 2015 District 7670 RYLA leadership program (http://bit.ly/1NWTHYY) in Brevard, NC.  All three students were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Catawba Valley and Bunker Hill High School and spent a week learning how to develop leadership skills and vision in their own lives.  They also learned a great deal about Rotary International and about leading community and international service projects.

Stephanie Martinez, Jessica Luna-Paz and Lupita Sanchez attended a club meeting on September 24th to share not only their experience at RYLA but also their commitment to reform the Interact Club at Bunker Hill High.  Our club committed to assisting these three leaders as they strive to create a sustaining Interact presence at Bunker Hill High.
