Several WWII Veterans participated with Rotarian Tom Lilly in the Soldier's Reunion Parade last week.  These men also were in the Honor Air program and visited Washington DC and the WWII memorial on an Honor Air Flight paid for by donations in our community.

At our meeting last Thursday numerous members were recognized.  President Donna gave recognition to a new group of Benefactors.  These are Rotarians who have pledged at least $1,000 in their Will to the Rotary Foundation's Perminant Fund.

Also President Donna honored Dr David Peltzer as the Rotary Star of the month for his contributions to our club in the Month of July.

On Thursday July 16th two special Rotarians were honored at our meeting for their contributions to our club and community for the 2008-09 Rotary year.

Michelle Roseman was awarded the honor of Rotarian of the Year for 2008-09.  Michelle has been active in our club with Administration support and keeping everyone informed and organized.  She has also worked hard to ensure our Annual Auction's Silent Bidding went well this year.

Todd Anderson was awarded the honor of the Business Ethics Award for 2008-09.  Todd is a business Leader in the area and has shown through his Vocation and in his service to our club that he treats others with dignity and respect and applies that into his Vocation.

The 2009-10 officers were installed at our regular weekly meeting on the last Thursday in June.  President Donna Wright took over from now Past-President Joshua.

March has been a wonderful month at our club.  With our 27th Anniversary and the induction of at least 5 new members this is an exciting time for all and an especially proud one for me.
