This week the volunteers who have worked for nearly a month on the Northern Coast of Honduras, on numerous projects, have returned and have shared photos of the progress in building a new grade school in the community of Las Palmas.

Rotarian Linda Gilbert from the RC of Charlotte-Shelburne in VT facilitated the opportunity for our club and district to participate in this project.

The current status is that all of the foundation and walls are complete with only the roof and furnishings to be completed.  The rooftop work is not done by visiting volunteers in order to keep their safety level high.
